We have received national (UK) recognition for our work in ICT.  The ICT Mark recognises schools using technology to improve overall effectiveness and efficiency across all aspects of school life; including pupil assessment, teaching and learning, the development of staff, as well as leadership and management.

We  had to provide evidence that we met the required level for the ICT mark. A UK based assessor visited the school to look at the use of ICT and spoke to staff, parents, members of the School Governance Committee and of course, pupils, about how the learning had improved through the use of ICT.

We were very excited to hear that we were successful in our application for the award. This was a team effort which involved all of Blankenhagen School’s staff and our enthusiastic learners. We are also very grateful for the interest and support demonstrated by our parents, the School Governance Committee and the SCE ICT advisory service. We are now very proud to be able to use the ICT Mark logo
