Everybody Matters
Lister Races -
On Friday 30th April Blankenhagen’s cross country club went to the Lister races in Herford and competed against other SCE schools.
We started off with fun runs for each key stage. After that the races began.
There was a trophy for first, second and third place and medals for everyone else. There was a jointed first in the yr 5 group race and it was a boy out of our school called Jonathon Martinez from Blankenhagen School it was very exciting for us to watch.
There were 4 boys or 4 girls in each race. Years 3 and 4 ran one and half times around the field yr 5 ran around the field 2 times and yr 6 ran around 2 and a half times.
The reserves collected their medal at the end as well as the results of which school won.
