Hats for Heroes -
Hats on for Heroes at Blankenhagen School!
On Friday 21st of May the children and staff at Blankenhagen school helped to raise money for Help for Heroes.
Help for Heroes is a charity that raises money for injured soldiers and their families because they have been very brave during the wars. We think it is a very important cause. The soldiers help to
keep us safe, so this is how we can show how grateful we are to them.
We wore hats to school with our usual uniform and paid at least 1€ to the School Council representatives. Then they counted up all the money to be sent to Help for Heroes.
There were lots of different hats to be seen. There were baseball caps, berets, witches hats, crowns, cowboy hats and many, many more.
