Everybody Matters
On Wednesday June 30th , our class travelled on a coach to Princess Royal Barracks to visit the station library.
The librarians were called Emma and Sarah. They talked to us about how to use the library.
Rules in the library:
No food or drinks
No mobiles
Talking voices only
Return books after 3 weeks
Put books back in the right place only
If you do not know where the book goes, tell the librarian
Because we had listened really well, Rachel read us a story called ‘Just Dog’ in the children’s section of the library. Afterwards, we got to look around the children’s shelves for ourselves.
As we were leaving, we were given gifts of pencils, rubbers, stickers and book marks to take home.
We had a great afternoon and learned all about how to use the library.
