Everybody Matters

Out and about with KS1 at the Stadt Park
On Wednesday July 7th the whole of KS1 went on a visit to the Stadt Park. We wore
our pirate t-
When we arrived, first we walked through the Botanical gardens and tried to doge the sprinklers, but lots of us got wet! Luckily it was a hot and sunny day. We saw lots of lovely flowers, we walked across the stepping stones and bridges where there were turtles swimming and basking on the rocks. In the pond there were lilly pads, frogs, tiny fish and dragon flies.
After that we went to the rope park in the woods, it was shady and cool. We carefully made our way around the rope course. We were scared at first, but then we felt pleased with ourselves for having a go.
Next we walked to the park over the bridge where we played on the pirate boat and sang pirate songs.
Then we walked back to the hill where we had our picnic. Some of us learned cheerleading with Emily, some played football with Mr Snape, some did skipping with Mrs Wiseman, some of us played in the woods and Christian sat in the shade and fell asleep!
On the way to the Park bad, we had ice cream. At the Park bad we took off our socks and shoes and sat on the edge to dip our feet in the freezing, cold water. It felt refreshing.
At the end of the afternoon we played on an adventure playground at the Park bad then we went back to school on the bus.
We had a fantastic day out. Thankyou to everybody who helped to make the trip possible.
