Major Carrell’s visit to Marine class

On Thursday, January 12th 2012 Major Carrell visited Marine class. He came to Blankenhagen school to talk to Marine class and Mrs Cooper in our room.

Major Carrell came to talk to Marine class about deserts. He showed us pictures of deserts and animals.

We invited him to tell us about deserts because our topic is about extreme weather. He lived near a desert  in Saudi Arabia when he was a little boy and he knows a lot about deserts. We all enjoyed learning about camels, cacti, desert hares and meerkats.
